The main purposes of a risk assessment are to evaluate potential hazards, then remove that hazard or minimise the level of its risk by adding control measures, as necessary. By doing so, you will have created a safer and healthier workplace for everyone. Whilst filming, it is very important to keep an eye out for hazards such as, potential injury from pyrotechnic effects, vehicle crashes and tripping hazards like unplugged wires/cables. A good example of a tripping hazard would be when filming in cold/icy weather.
