CANON: Journeys - Final Products
MAGAZINE FRONT COVER: FINAL PRODUCT
This is the completed product of my magazine front cover for Canon. I believe that I have been able to hit the target market with the design I have produced. This is because I have implemented a young person as the model and also have used bright and vibrant colours within the design. The inspiration behind the product was real-life CANON magazine covers. I feel like I have followed the brief well and stuck to the codes and conventions of what a magazine front cover should include. Starting with the title of the magazine "CANON" with a cheesy slogan underneath to encourage young people to read it. I have included an image of the camera to show what it looks like and a student modelling the product. I have also included iconic landmarks in the world to hook a reader of the magazine and encourage them to visit the said places and be able to grab some great shots with the Canon camera. I have also ensured to include the thought of being on a journey and where the camera will be able to take you and how it will really help in life. This is another way of persuading the reader to buy the magazine.

This is my completed print advert for CANON. The campaign theme was about "Journeys" therefore I believe I have followed the brief that was given. Although I haven't used an original image of my own, I do believe that the concept still makes sense as I have implemented the car and the luminous scenery of Dubai. Meaning that you will be able to go on a journey and travel anywhere in the world with the Canon camera and you can take photos of the famous landmarks which may catch your interest.
I have included two text colours of black and red as my thinking was that the two colours were best suited to correlate with the main image. This is because the red fits perfectly with the CANON logo and the colour of the centre car. Whereas, I thought black was suitable for my subheadings as it looked the most visible due to where I wanted to place the text. I do hope that my persuasive comments of "BRING YOUR JOURNEY TO LIFE" and "EXPLORE NEW HORIZONS WITH THE CANON CAMERA" will further entice readers to take an interest into the camera product. If they do, then i have made sure to place the web address in an easily accessible place and to make it clear to the audience of where they would need to visit, to do so. Lastly, I do hope that this print advert will give CANON further attention and new buyers of their products.
